I was educated at St. Benedict's, one of the finest private schools in West London, England. (Quirky British-ism: This type of exclusive private school - like Eton and Harrow - is actually called a "Public School" in England. Don't ask!)

The school has educated many fine scholars, scientists, politicians, athletes and artists, and is proud to include among its alumni, or "Old Boys," as they're known locally (Yes, even the ladies!):

Andy Serkis - The actor behind the character "Gollum" in the recent "Lord of the Rings" movies (among many other notable film, TV and stage roles).

Julian Clary - Outrageously funny TV, film and stage entertainer.

Labi Siffre - Singer/songwriter of such classics as "It Must Be Love," most famously covered by Madness; "I Got The," as sampled on Eminem's hit "My Name Is;" and the hauntingly beautiful tribute to Nelson Mandela, "Something Inside So Strong."

Robert Hines - Another actor, who has garnered roles in "Hellraiser" and "Frankenstein," to name a few.

Born and raised in London, England, I am now living in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas, but am able to travel wherever required at a moment's notice.

I have been involved in the creative world since 1998, first as an editorial assistant and writer at The Key West Citizen, then as editor for Myvesta.org, a national nonprofit organization.

Since 2002, I have been a freelance editor and writer (see Editing101.com) and, most recently, have been providing voice-over services to contacts in the industry who want a genuine British accent (or a slightly fake Australian one at a push).

I can also do a passable Australian accent, should you be unable (or unwilling?) to find a genuine Aussie. Having lived in the United States for over 10 years, and being married to a Texan, apparently the mix of the two accents comes out sounding as though it's from down under, and I am constantly mistaken as coming from Australia or New Zealand.
